Webdoc, presents and a recipe!

Hi all! Happy (almost) Friday! I'm looking forward to the weekend, what do you have planned?

I just threw this together today. I like using webdoc because a) I don't have/don't know how to use photoshop b) it has fun little gadgets you can use and add to your pictures and c) it's free and easy to use.

I actually just ordered those brown boots! Scott got them for me for Valentine's Day. I've been dying for a pair of flat mid calf lace-up boots. I got them from Ruche, you can get them here!

I also just picked out this ring for Valentine's Day and bought it for myself from Scott. I'm a little weird, I know...

I bought it on Etsy from capriciousme. She has great jewelry and very moderately priced! Check her out if you need some Valentine's Day gift ideas!

I also have a recipe I want to share with you all, I made it for dinner last night and it was delicious! I used to work as a waitress and one of the cooks would make this White Chicken Chili that I just recently thought of giving it a shot! Turned out great, Scott liked it a lot. I need to start keeping up with this more

I am starting to feel motivated and inspired to do my blog postings on a more regular basis. I definitely have a lot of shoe cravings- nothing's changed there. These past couple months have been hectic beyond belief. Scott and I moved out of his parent's house into our own apartment in Elmont, New York. The area is great. Floral Park High School is right down the block and we try to walk the track at least 3 or 4 times a week. This crappy weather has set us back this past week, though. Last night we made homemade cupcakes and frosting for Rosh Hashanah at Vicki's tonight. They came out pretty good for my first attempt at baking without a buying a cake mix from the grocery store. Ok, so on with my shoe obsession...

I am really digging these mensware-esque pumps and flats. They're masculine but definitely sexy and will turn some heads.

I wish these didn't have such hideous laces! I love the work boot feel, though. They remind me of my stepdad's boots that he refuses to replace until the soles wear through. I recently bought a pair of boots that have these same types of holes for the laces. They give some great detail to the shoes.

These are great. I love the western/cowboy vibe. I had a pair of cowboy boots when I was 16-17 that I absolutely adored. I really love wearing girly dresses and a "gruff" kind of shoe. It breaks the outfit up and gives a different feel to the whole look.

I found most of these on Piperlime.com. They have a great selection, surprisingly!

Scott surprised me with shoes!

I was gawking over these shoes one day. I must've left the window open on my computer because I walked away for a few minutes. Scott called to me that he had a surprise for me. He wouldn't tell me what it was (he never does)! I sat down and picked my laptop up and started opening a new tab in Firefox-- then I stopped. The screen said, "Thank you for your order!" And it was my shoes! My face lit up. He is pretty great. :)

So, I'll be honest .... I like some of Jessica Simpson's (or as we call her, J SIMPS) shoes.

You can't deny a great shoe, no matter what the brand... right? Well I guess it depends. But I was ashamed at first because I liked some styles that J Simps designed.

SUMMER SHOES, WEDGES I WANT MORE MORE MORE

Betsey Johnson
I fell in love with these the moment I saw them... So cute for a night out with a summer dress! Even could wear them to the office (which is where I usually am wearing most of my cute shoes unfortunately)...

I love the color of these shoes!!! I want these mossy green in a higher heel maybe a back-zip bootie or something...! These aren't bad but I really just want the color!

These are the perfect summer sandles! I think I might need to buy them.... Such a cute pale yellow and brown wedge... would look good with anything!

These are another unknown pair that I found but I really love the style of the heel. It's sort of part wedge part heel... Strange! But I like. And the laces make it edgy so you could dress them up with something sexy!
